Percussion Ensemble Class Expectations

| Percussion Ensemble is another non-audition class where students learn fundamentals of percussion including snare drum, mallets, timpani, and auxilary percussion. They also study solo literature, percussion ensemble music, and drum line music for marching band. Although Percussion Ensemble is considered an Advanced Band class, students are auditioned in class to be in either Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble. They learn the concert music in class and put it together with the bands during after school practices. The Percussion Class also performs as a Percussion Ensemble in the Spring Concert and at various local community events. | ||
