Band Booster meetings are generally held the second Monday of the month 
at 7pm in the Band Room.  Check the calendar for meeting dates.  
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.  

Join us September 10, 2007 at 7pm for the Band Booster Meeting.

We need many dedicated parents helping on various committees:

Committee Job Descriptions 

§         Chaperone Committee Chair – Responsible for securing chaperones for all band events requiring chaperones.  This individual will communicate with the band director for number of parents needed and the times they are needed.
      o      
Chaperones – Responsible for safety and security of students.  Assist the band director with students at all events.  

§         Bookstore Committee Chair – Responsible for maintaining stock and purchasing items for the bookstore.  Responsible for scheduling parents for daily work schedule (morning and afternoon) and athletic and special events.  Reduced band fees are being offered for this position.
        o       Bookstore staff – Responsible for selling items and restocking (from booster room) during daily shift (parents normally work one shift per week.

§         Uniform Committee Chair – Responsible for maintaining marching and concert uniforms, scheduling fitting of students and purchasing uniform items as necessary.  Responsible for issuing marching uniforms to students prior to performances.
      o       Uniform staff – Assist chairperson with fitting, issuing, and maintenance of uniforms.  

§         Phone Tree chair – Responsible for maintaining roster of phone numbers and starting the call tree when information is required.
       o       Phone tree staff – Responsible for calling the individuals that are under them when required to ensure information is disseminated.  

§         Pit Crew Chair – Responsible for scheduling rental truck for all band events where truck is needed.  Also responsible for securing individuals to act as pit crew during football games and competitions.
       o       Pit Crew staff – These individuals assist in loading and unloading the truck for required events as well as helping to move the equipment onto and off the performance site.  

§         Hospitality Chair – Responsible for acquiring snacks and food for the fall and spring banquet and for concert.  Also responsible for the set up and tearing down at these events.
       o       Hospitality assistants – Assists the hospitality chair in all duties.

§         Newsletter Chair – Responsible for getting newsletter articles from officers/director, collating the information and mailing the newsletter monthly.
