From the NORTH/WEST (Richmond)

From the SOUTH (Elizabeth City)

Get on I64 EAST toward NORFOLK.

Virginia Beach is approximately 2 hours driving time from the West End of Richmond. It is all freeway on I64. You will pass through the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel

Approximately 12 miles after the tunnel, take a RIGHT exit to I264 (also known as RT44) East toward Virginia Beach. (This is a flyover which will take you OVER I64)

In 3 miles you will pass Mt. Trashmore (Virginia Beach City Park) on the RIGHT. Approximately 5 miles later, take the FIRST COLONIAL ROAD NORTH exit (second First Colonial Road exit)

You will cross over Virginia Beach Blvd. (2nd light).

Continue straight for approximately 2 miles. Linkhorn Park Elementary school will be on LEFT, Virginia Beach General Hospital on RIGHT.

Continue straight 1 mile to Great Neck Road (Exxon on RIGHT).

Turn RIGHT onto Great Neck Road.

Continue straight for 2 lights (Shorehaven Road).

Turn LEFT on SHOREHAVEN ROAD.

Cox High School is on the immediate RIGHT.

Virginia Beach is approximately 2 hours driving time from Elizabeth City. It is a combination of Highway and Freeway.

Get onto Virginia RT58 EAST toward Norfolk.

Follow signs to I264 EAST toward NORFOLK

Go through the Midtown Tunnel.

Follow I264 EAST toward VIRGINIA BEACH. (RIGHT exit after tunnel. MERGE NOW!)

You will go UNDER I64 in 4 miles. The road will turn into I264/ RT44.

In 3 miles, you will pass Mt. Trashmore (Virginia Beach City Park) on the RIGHT. Approximately 5 miles later, take the FIRST COLONIAL ROAD NORTH exit (second First Colonial Road exit)
